Heat Pumps
Heating & Cooling
Heat Pumps
Cold-climate air source heat pump installation — efficient year-round comfort with maximum rebate eligibility.
Modern cold-climate heat pumps work efficiently down to -30°C, making them perfect for all BC climates. They move heat rather than generate it — 3× more efficient than electric baseboards. We install Mitsubishi Hyper Heat, Daikin cold-climate series, and other top brands. Most installations qualify for $2,000–$16,000 in combined rebates.
HVAC
Climate Systems
HVAC Installation
Full HVAC system design, supply, and installation. All major brands. Full BC code compliance.
We design and install complete heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for homes and commercial buildings — forced-air furnaces, ducted systems, ductless mini-splits, ventilation, and air quality systems. All work meets BC building code and manufacturer specs.

Rebate Program Assistance
We identify, apply for, and manage every rebate program available to you — at no extra charge.
Most homeowners and communities leave thousands unclaimed because the programs are complex. We handle the entire process — assessment, application, compliance documentation, and follow-up — so you capture every dollar without the headache. This service is included with every installation at no additional cost.
Mechanical
Full Scope
Mechanical Contracting
New builds, retrofits, and infrastructure. Hydronic systems, boilers, piping. Licensed, bonded, Nation-owned.
From large-scale mechanical system design to complete building infrastructure — hydronic heating, in-floor radiant, boilers, commercial HVAC, piping, and more. We work with architects, general contractors, and band offices directly. Experienced in both residential and commercial scopes.
Maintenance
Ongoing Care
Maintenance & Service
Scheduled maintenance plans and emergency service. We're here year-round, not just for the install.
Scheduled maintenance keeps systems running at peak efficiency, extends equipment life, and maintains warranty coverage. Regular maintenance can reduce energy consumption by up to 25% and prevent costly breakdowns. We also provide emergency service calls when you need us most.
Community
Nations & Communities
Community Infrastructure
Band offices, health centres, schools, community halls — we understand Nation infrastructure deeply.
We understand the procurement, cultural, and operational requirements of First Nations community projects. We've worked on band offices, health centres, community halls, and multi-unit housing. We operate with cultural protocols in mind and communicate directly with band administrators throughout every phase.

Stacking Rebates

Stack All Three Levels.
Maximize Every Dollar.

The most powerful strategy is combining rebates from all three levels of government at once. Most contractors only know about one or two programs. We know them all — and we apply for all of them simultaneously.

Early adopters are taking advantage of historically high rebates that won't last forever. Some programs are already nearly subscribed. Acting now means maximum savings.

🇨🇦
Federal Level
Canada Greener Homes Grant and the $40,000 interest-free Canada Greener Homes Loan. Available nationwide, administered through Natural Resources Canada. Requires a certified EnerGuide evaluation — we coordinate this.
Up to $5,600 + $40K loan
🏔️
Provincial Level
CleanBC Better Homes Energy Savings Program, BC Hydro Home Renovation Rebate, Oil to Heat Pump Affordability Program, and Indigenous Community Heat Pump Incentive. The most generous programs are at this level.
Up to $16,000–$24,000
🏘️
Municipal Level
Many BC municipalities offer additional top-up rebates on top of federal and provincial programs. These vary by region and are automatically assessed when you submit a CleanBC application — no extra work required.
Varies by municipality
Important notes on rebate eligibility: Rebate amounts depend on product efficiencies, primary heating fuel source before retrofit, utility provider (BC Hydro, FortisBC, or municipal), and home location. All installations must be completed by a licensed contractor with a valid BC business license — that's us. We ensure every installation meets all program requirements so you don't lose out.
Why Heat Pumps

Better for Your Home.
Better for the Land.

For Indigenous communities, the land is sacred. Switching to a heat pump is one of the most meaningful steps a household can take. BC's clean hydroelectric grid makes the environmental benefit here greater than almost anywhere else in Canada.

FAQ

Common Questions

Can't find what you're looking for? We're happy to answer anything — just call us.

Call 604-910-4442
What exactly is a heat pump and how does it work?
+
A heat pump is a highly efficient heating and cooling system that moves heat rather than generates it. In winter, it extracts heat from the outside air (even in very cold temperatures) and transfers it inside. In summer it reverses, acting as an air conditioner. Because it moves heat instead of creating it, it uses far less energy than traditional electric heaters — making it both cheaper to run and better for the environment.
Do heat pumps work in BC's cold winters?
+
Yes — modern cold-climate heat pumps like the Mitsubishi Hyper Heat and Daikin cold-climate series are designed to work efficiently down to -30°C. These are the systems we most commonly install and they perform excellently in all BC climates, including northern and interior regions where winters are severe.
How much can I save through rebate programs?
+
It depends on your location, current heating system, and household income. Most BC homeowners qualify for between $2,000 and $8,000. Income-qualified households can receive up to $16,000. First Nations communities in northern BC can access up to $24,000 in combined incentives. We identify everything you qualify for during our free assessment — most clients are surprised by how much they're entitled to.
What does "stacking rebates" mean?
+
Stacking means combining rebates from multiple programs at the same time — federal, provincial, and municipal. Each level of government offers separate rebates that can be applied simultaneously on the same project. Most contractors only know about one or two programs. We know all of them and apply for everything at once, maximizing your total rebate value.
How long does a heat pump installation take?
+
A typical residential heat pump installation takes 1–2 days. More complex systems with multiple zones or ducting modifications may take 2–3 days. We always leave your home clean and fully tested before we leave, and we walk you through how to operate the new system.
Can Airrow Nation work on our reserve or Nation land?
+
Absolutely — this is one of our core specialties. As a Nation-owned company, we understand the protocols, relationships, and processes involved in working on Nation land. We work directly with band administrators, housing departments, and councils, and we approach every community with the respect and cultural sensitivity it deserves.
Do I need to prepare anything before the assessment?
+
Nothing at all. Just call or email us and we'll come to you. We bring everything needed for the assessment. There's no paperwork required upfront, no cost for the assessment, and no obligation to proceed. We just want to show you what's possible.
What brands do you install?
+
We install all major brands including Mitsubishi Electric, Daikin, Lennox, American Standard, Rinnai, Navien, IBC Technologies, and Fujitsu. We recommend systems based on your specific needs, climate zone, and budget — not based on brand incentives.
Do you serve areas outside Indigenous communities?
+
Yes — we proudly serve all BC residents. Indigenous communities are our primary focus and specialty, but we bring the same standard of excellence to every client. Whether you're in Metro Vancouver, the Interior, or a rural community, we're here to help.
